The Ohio Hunter Trapper Education Instructor Association (OHTEIA) was established in 2006 as a non-for-profit organization. With a mission to promote and support the Ohio Hunter and Trapper Education instructors involved with the ODNR. The OHTEIA has an annual banquet where a guest speaker normally joins to update the group and also provides materials such as loaner laptops and meals at the Ohio State Fair for instructors.
